Get a read-only snapshot of response speed, follow-up coverage, team workload and lead sources. It usually takes less than a minute and changes nothing in your account.

This free check reads Follow Up Boss live through the key you paste. It is not our synced Pulse mirror, so numbers can differ from a connected client account. Accuracy depends on that key’s permissions and what Follow Up Boss returns for the sample.

Your API key is never stored or sent to SureSend. Your name, email, phone number and completed-audit status are saved in our SureSend CRM so Mira can follow up about your results.

How to get your API key from Follow Up Boss
  1. Sign in to Follow Up Boss and open Admin.
  2. Select API, then choose Create API Key.
  3. Name it Pulse Audit and select Create API Key.
  4. Select Copy, return here, and paste the key into the field above.

Follow Up Boss only shows the complete key when it is created, so copy it before selecting Done. If Create API Key is unavailable, ask your account owner to grant you API Access or create the key for you.

The exact security and data-handling details.

  • Never stored. Your key is used once, in memory, for the length of this one request. It is never written to our database, never written to a log, and never included in an error report.
  • Read-only. This audit only reads. It cannot create, change or delete anything in your account, because it never sends anything but a read.
  • Contact details only. We save the name, email and phone number you enter to our SureSend CRM, along with the completed-audit status and score, so Mira can follow up. Separately, Pulse keeps the headline score and your Follow Up Boss account ID to count completed audits. Your Follow Up Boss API key is never included in either record.
  • Bounded. It never pages your database. It reads counts and one small sample of your newest contacts, so it cannot be used to pull your data out through us. It also stops after six audits an hour from one network.
  • Revocable in ten seconds. If you would rather not take our word for any of the above, do this instead:
    1. In Follow Up Boss, go to Admin, then API, and create a key named "Pulse Audit".
    2. Paste it above and run the audit.
    3. Delete the key. It is dead the moment you do, everywhere.
